Valencia is a beautiful city and has many photogenic spots. You would definitely stumble upon many Instagrammable places in Valencia even if you weren’t really looking! In fact, I found most of these simply by wandering around Valencia. However, I was there for a very extended amount of time – so chances are you might miss many of those if you’re only there for a short period of time. looking for cute spots to see & take photos at, here are the 13 most Instagrammable places in Valencia!
If you still haven’t booked your accommodation, this is my favourite hostel in Valencia!

1. Puente de las Flores
Definitely the cutest bridge in Valencia – and doesn’t really need much of an explanation. Red flowers and palm trees in the back, very cute.
2. Museo de Belles Arts (Museum of Fine Arts)
As the name suggests, this is a museum, but we mostly went there for this cute courtyard. It’s pink and there are some plants and stuff there as well. Surprisingly, there was no entrance fee – and the courtyard was empty for the most part. Perhaps cause everyone else actually came there to visit the museum :))))
3. Umbracle
If you have a thing for palm trees, like me, you’re gonna love this place. Located next to the Arts and Science Center, it’s a super cute place to visit, and to take photos :))) It’s a public place so there’s no entrance fee.
Side note: there is a night club located at the other end of the Umbracle, called Mya, so you can check that out if that’s something you’re interested in! There you also have the same type of palm trees so if you’re looking for a night club, it’s pretty cool.
4. Puente de Monteolivete (for sunset)
From this bridge you will get a beautiful view of the sunset, with the Arts and Science Center in the background. I would also recommend walking around the Arts and Science Center (around the Hemisféric) during sunset,
5. Playa Malvarrosa
Playa Malvarrosa is a perfect place to spend the day, and also to take some cute photos. The pastel blue sun beds and these straw umbrellas are very instagrammable, as well as making for a great place for some beach time.
Note that the sun beds and the umbrellas are only out from May through September!
6. Jardín del Turia
In Valencia there is this huge park called Jardín del Turia. Fun fact: this used to be a river, but it was moved after severe flooding in 1957. It makes for a great place to take some photos, and I’d also highly recommend to do a picnic there. These photos are taken close to the Parque del Museo de las Ciencias.
7. Calle Marina Real Juan Carlos I
Right at the end of the beach, next to Playa de las Arenas, is this path lined with palm trees. I’m an absolute sucker for palm trees so I love this place haha. Click here for the exact location on google maps
8. Cabanyal
It doesn’t really make sense to add a specific location, the whole Cabanyal neighbourhood is very Instagrammable. Here you will find lots of cute streets and houses, in a pretty different style than the rest of Valencia. It’s an interesting neighbourhood to wander around and take some photos on the way.
9. Plaza Décimo Junio Bruto
Behind the Real Basilíca de Nuestra Señora De Los Desamparados (yes a very long name) is a square surrounded by some colourful building, that are great for taking some photos. The peach coloured building in my photo is the back of the Real Basilíca de Nuestra Señora De Los Desamparados. Click here for the exact location!
10. Calle de Las Barcas
In front of Hotel One Shot Palacio Reina Victoria is this pretty white building, with some palm trees next to it. Yes another one with palm trees, haha. You would probably get the best shot by standing on the street, guess I wasn’t willing to wait for the traffic to stop :)))
11. City of Arts and Science
Probably my favourite one! Perhaps I’m biased cause I lived very close to this place so I went there all the time haha. You can take some super cute photos with these teal blue waters in the background! It’s also a fun area to walk or bike around.
12. Calle de la Paz
At the corner of Calle de la Paz and Calle Marqués dos Aguas, in front of Rafael Torres Joyero jewellery shop. This is where you find this cute building with red details, I didn’t really think anything of it at first but it turned out to be pretty cute. Click here for the exact google maps location!
13. Port Saplaya
While not strictly in Valencia, I just had to include Port Saplaya in this guide as it’s perhaps the most instagrammable place of all of them. Port Saplaya is located just outside of Valencia, a short 10-15 minute drive, or about a 40 minute bus ride (metrobus, line 112). Due to its similarity to Venice, Italy, it has earned the nickname little Venice. And that’s a pretty accurate description of what it is. Little colourful houses lined up around a canal, as well as a beautiful sandy beach just across the road.
